Rules

 

  • The Jigsaw Killer remains at large as people continue to go missing. Find the clues to aid you in your investigation. Discover all 6 locations and try to save the victims before time runs out.
  • Discover items in Jigsaw’s Workshop by hitting enough switch types to collect an item to aid you in the appropriate trap modes.
  • Shoot lit white arrows to spell SAW. Then hit the right scoop to enter the Bathroom. However, shooting a red arrow will SUBTRACT a letter and will activate a disc. The next white arrow collected will disarm a disc. Select a trap to attempt an escape and shoot the flashing color-coded shots. Hit as many as required until the path to salvation is revealed.
  • Hacksaw Multiball is a physical ball lock multiball that IS STEALABLE between players. Jigsaw & Shackle Multiball is virtual ball locks based on individual player progression.
  • Spell D-I-E to start Make Your Choice Hurry Up. You will not be able to collect all of the lit shots in one attempt.
  • Bonus is tied to items discovered in Jigsaw’s Workshop that are unused at the end of the ball.
  • Trap Modes & Multiballs ARE stackable


 

The skill shot on SAW is based on the 3-bank drop target. 

  • The upper drop target base value is 1M.
  • The middle drop target base value is 2M. 
  • The lower drop target base value is 3M. 


Hitting any skill shot increases the base value by 1M for the next ball’s skill shot.


Secret Skill Shots: 

Soft plunge so it lands on either the left or right flipper, then make any of these shots as the next switch sequence to score a Secret Skill Shot.

  • X marks the spot for 4M
  • Plunge into the inner orbit and combo the left ramp for 5M
  • Left outer orbit combo into the inner orbit for 8M


 The Traps are set among the city and you must shoot the white arrows to spell S-A-W. 

However, hitting a red arrow will cause you to lose a letter toward qualifying your mode and activate a disc. 

Hit 2 red arrows in a row will activate 2 discs 

Hit 3 red arrows in sequence then all 3 discs will activate. 

There will be an additional red arrow added after attempting a trap mode.

Shooting a white arrow will disarm 1 disc per shot. 

Once you have spelled SAW, hit the right scoop to enter the Bathroom and select a trap.

Hit a certain number of color-coded shots to successfully escape the trap and save the victim. 

All modes are 60 second timers  except the Reverse Bear Trap  is 120 seconds. 

Traps are as follows:

  • Drillchair -  

                         1. Left Drill requires 6 lower pops hit

                         2. Right Drill requires 6 upper pops hit

                               Temporarily Jam the drill for 2s by hitting blue arrows.

  • Flammable Jelly -  

                        The  combination to the safe:

                         1. one of the 6 lit shots contains the combination

                         2. X marks the spot

  • Quad Shotgun Hallway - 

                         Disable The Shotguns by:

                         1.  Hitting each of the 4  standup targets

                         2. 15 spins at the spinner to navigate safely through the hallway

  • Razorwire -

                         to crawl through the razorwire:

                         1. 16 upper pop hits

                         2. X marks the spot to escape

                         one-time add-a-ball at X marks the spot lit at mode start

  • Reverse Bear Trap - 

                         Spinner Builds Value (+145k per spin)

                         1. Stand Ups locks in Value 

                         2. Hit any Orbit 

                         3. Hit any Ramp 

                         4. Hit any Orbit 

                         5. Hit any Ramp

                         6. X marks the spot

  • Zep’s Test - 

                         1. Hit any lit shot

                         2. Hit the same lit shot to collect

                         3. Rinse & Repeat for a total of 3 collected shots to complete mode


 

Discover and collect items left behind in Jigsaw’s Workshop to aid you in navigating through the Traps. Each item is associated with a switch type. 

Hit X number of a type of switch to collect said item. 

Unused items at the end of the ball will be converted into bonus.

  • 20 Pops =  Gear
  • 10 Stand-Up Targets = Candle     
  • 40 Slings = Bathtub
  • 9 In-Lanes = Tape Recorder
  • 25 Spinners = Handgun
  • 5 Ramps = Key
  • 5 Orbits = Hacksaw
  • 6 Drop Targets = Antidote


The items pair to the following modes and the action button will be lit during the mode:

  • Key = Reverse Bear Trap
    • Shots are worth 1.5X
  • Handgun = Drillchair
    • Add 1-4 hits toward either Drill
    • Blue Arrows add +1 additional second to the timer
  • Hacksaw = Razorwire
    • Upper Pops worth 2x
  • Candle = Flammable Jelly
    • Timer ticks down 1.5x faster
    • Shots are worth 2x for 30sec
  • Tape Recorder = Add-A-Ball in any MB
  • Bathtub = Light Outlane Ball Save
  • Antidote = Zep’s Test
    • Spots Next Shot
    • Shots are worth + 1M
  • Gears = Quad Shotgun Hallway
    • Spinner +500k


Bonuses are awarded as the 6 primary trap modes are completed based on how fast the player completes each mode.

All mode times as follows:

  • 15M if cleared within 10 seconds
  • 10M if cleared within 20 seconds
  • 6M  if cleared within 30 seconds
  • 4.5M if cleared within 40 seconds
  • 3M if cleared within 50 seconds


*** Reverse Bear Trap allocates twice the duration with it being a 120 second mode.


 After attempting a trap, you will have 20 seconds to collect a puzzle piece by hitting the flashing target. Collect 2+ puzzle pieces to unlock a mini wizard mode. 

Return back to the bathroom to see SURVIVAL INSTINCT as a selectable mode.


Spell D-I-E to begin Make Your Choice hurry up. 

You will have 25 seconds when this begins to hit X marks the spot to lock in your value. 

Each lit shot will be worth the locked in value. 

Keep in mind that not all of the lit shots are obtainable in one attempt. 


Spell B-I-L-L-Y to increase your bonus multiplier. 

First completion of spelling BILLY = 2x. 

Second Completion = 3x. 

Third Completion = 4x. 


Hit a total of 5 lower drop targets to light the left scoop. 

Hit the lit scoop to collect reward. Each item is only collectible once. 

Current rewards are as follows:

  • Random Jigsaw Workshop Item (25% chance)
  • Advance SAW letter (15% chance)
  • Outlane ball save (14% chance)
  • +5 million points (12% chance)
  • Advance +1 virtual lock toward Jigsaw Multiball (9% chance)
  • +1X Bonus Multiplier (7% chance)
  • +1X Playfield Multiplier for 60 seconds (7% chance)
  • Extra Ball lit (6% chance)
  • -1 million points (5% chance)


  • Completing 2 traps
  • Obtaining 4 puzzle pieces
  • Completing 4 of the surveillance combos
  • Mystery has a 6% chance to light an extra ball..


Each combo shot collected awards a surveillance camera. 

Each combo may only be awarded once per game.

Completing a combo will enable a +1x Playfield Multiplier for 30 seconds.

These are stackable and will reset your 30 second timer.

Combos are as follows:

  • Left Orbit + Left Ramp
  • Left Orbit + Inner Orbit
  • Left Orbit + Inner Orbit + Left Ramp
  • Right Ramp + X Drop Target
  • Saucer + Inner Orbit
  • Saucer + Left Ramp


Upon completing three negative shots and activating all 3 discs. It begins a 75 second frenzy Hostage mode.

  • All shots are +250k
  • Each right ramp deactivates a disc.
  • Upon hitting the 3rd right ramp disc it completes the mode and equips the player with 1 random item from Jigsaw’s Workshop.


Hit the left and right standup of the right ramp to light the lock. 

Then shoot the right ramp to lock a ball. 

After three balls are locked then Hacksaw Multiball will begin


  • Base Jackpot value = 2.25M
  • Pop bumpers decrease Jackpot value -5k
  • Drop target bank increases Jackpot value +250k
  • Flashing Red shots collects jackpot value


Hit the middle standup (behind the flammable jelly puzzle piece)to light the lock. 

Then hit the left ramp to virtually lock a ball. 

After three balls are locked then Jigsaw Multiball begins


  • Base Jackpot value =  2.5M + (spiral targets hit * 375k)
  • Spiral Standups flashing blue increase Jackpot values by 75k each hit
  • Flashing Red shots collects jackpot value
  • Super Jackpot is qualified once each tier of red shots are completed. Then hit X marks the spot to collect Super Jackpot for 2M + (spiral targets hit * 375k * 3)


Hit the left standup (surveillance camera) and the right standup (spiral) to light the lock. 

Then hit the saucer under the right ramp to lock a ball. 

After three balls are locked then Shackle Multiball begins


  • X marks the spot flashes on a 30sec countdown to lock in jackpot values
  • Jackpot value = 2M base + ((countdown timer locked in *30) * 12331)
  • Super Jackpot is qualified once each tier of red shots are completed. Then hit X marks the spot to Collect Super Jackpot for 2M ((countdown timer locked in *30) * 12331 * 3)


Lil' Billy secret mode qualifies once 2 secret skill shots are collected.

Then, the mode will be available to select in the right scoop.

To reveal the purple lit secret skill shots hold the left flipper for 2seconds.


It will randomly assign the player to one of the following tasks:

  1.  Skill Shot Frenzy - 60 seconds of unlimited plunges for the standard 3 drop target skill shot bank.

  •    Skill Shots will have a base of 2.5M.
  •    Each Additional Skill Shot +1.25M
  •    After 60 seconds the mode will end and game will return to single ball play.

         2.   Flipper Trap - 60 second mode where the flipper buttons change every 10 seconds. 

  •    Base value of lit shots 1M
  •    Each additional lit shot adds 1M to the value
  •    After 60 seconds the mode will end and return to standard game play.



The jigsaw piece that I cut from my subjects was only ever meant to be a symbol that subject was missing something. A vital piece of the human puzzle. The survival instinct. - Jigsaw


Qualifies once 2+ puzzle pieces have been obtained.

Puzzle piece count = MB count. 

  • I.E. 2 puzzle pieces = 2 ball multiball
  • 3 puzzle pieces = 3 ball multiball
  • 4 puzzle pieces = 4 ball multiball
  • 5 puzzle pieces = 5 ball multiball


Collect 3 S-A-W letters then get to the Bathroom to select this mode


  • Red shots (add 1.5M * amount of red shots made) to the blue shot. 
  • After hitting a lit red shot then that shot won’t be lit again until a different shot is made.
  • Blue shot collects jackpot which are an accumulation of a base value 2M + (red shots made * 1.5M)
  • Once the jackpot is collected it resets back to the 2M base.
  • The mode ends when returning to single ball play.


Qualifies once 4 modes are completed.

Collect 3 S-A-W letters then get to the Bathroom to select this mode


  • Phase One: Disarm Zep -  10 standups (3.5M each)
  • Phase Two: Attack Zep - 50 switch hits (1M each)
  • Phase Three: Finish Off Zep - Hit each of the 5 puzzle piece areas (6M each)
